The Rapid Rectilinears are clearly marked as in the sample on the left a 10x8 Rapid Rectilinear. The lens on the right is a Wide Angle Rectilinear and its markings are shown below.

No mention of Wide Angle, but with Rectilinear, Patent and the Size, No.1 inscribed.

In the late 1880s Dallmeyer listed a number of other lenses in the rectilinear range as may be seen in Stock Book Volume 6, Rectilinear Settings but as I have never seen examples of these short lived varieties I'm afraid I have no information about these comparitively rare lenses.
